Our History

The Radio Racing Cars SA club was formed in 1982, as the Adelaide Hills Model Club - Car Group and originally used a shopping centre car park in Mount Barker to hold race meetings for 1/8th scale circuit cars, marking out the track with lengths of 2"x4" timber.

In October 1984 the Club had a purpose built racing circuit laid at Anembo Park, Littlehampton, and after about six months further work had the track ready for its opening meeting, the 1985 S.A. Championship.

Since this successful meeting the Club has continued to add to its facilities, now including a canteen, toilet block and under cover pit area. In July 1993 the Car Group became Radio Racing Cars SA inc.
